MUSIKA MEDICA
musical medicine for body, mind, and spirit • • • responsive • improvisational • immersive
MUSIKA MEDICA is a women-led improvisational music and healing project that blends deep listening, musical exploration, and embodied presence. Rooted in attunement, the group creates sound experiences that move beyond performance—offering moments of rest, reflection, and creative renewal. Each Musika Medica performance, workshop or gathering is unique, shaped by the people, place, and moment. Through concerts, workshops, and collaborations with community voices and guest artists, Musika Medica invites audiences into a shared field of sound, contemplative inquiry and spiritual nourishment.

OFFERINGS
-
Musika Medica concerts are journeys in sound and connection—where performance meets meditation and ceremony. Each experience is attuned to the energy of the space and those present, opening pathways for rest, resonance, curiosity and renewal.
-
Musika Medica Immersive Music Sessions offer participants a direct experience of sound as medicine and healing. Through carefully attuned improvisation, embodiment practices such as chi gong and breathing, and silence, the MM guiding musicians create a field of resonance that supports nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and inner stillness.
-
MM Workshops invite participants into a contemplative and creative process—exploring listening, breath, movement, voice, and improvisation as pathways to connection and healing. Drawing on practices from music, mindfulness, and somatic inquiry, these sessions open space for curiosity, reflection, rest and play.
-
The Musika Medica team consists of experienced workshop and retreat leaders trained in restorative sound journeys, meditative music, meditation, mindful movement (including qigong and yoga), creative practices, and nature-based healing practices.
